Do you have a 5th-8th grade girl wanting to play volleyball? We are looking for beginning level players to fill out a team for the KC East Lions. The cost is $125 for the season. They have already started practice at First Baptist of Raytown, but it is not too late to join. They are practicing Mon, Tue, and Thur for the next 2 weeks and after that it would be a practice on Thursday and games on Monday. This is a great opportunity for girls to meet other homeschool girls and play a fun sport. At this level the focus is on having fun, while learning how to play volleyball. If your daughter is at all interested in playing volleyball and is in this age group, this is an excellent opportunity to try it out. The games will be at Blue Valley Activity Center. Practice this week is at 3:30 on Tuesday and 5:30 on Monday and Thursday. Feel free to come by to watch practice and talk to a coach or contact me for more info--I will then put you in touch with the proper person!!
My girls did this this summer and loved it!!! Christian coach and well behaved parents and team members...(I say well behaved parents because I have been involved in sporting events in the past where parents were NOT sportsmen like). We just have too much on our plate this fall to do the fall one.
